In 2018, Precision Analytical added Organic Acid (OATs) metabolite analytes to the DUTCH Complete™ and DUTCH Plus® panels. These included nutritional analytes for B6 and B12, and neurotransmitter analytes for Dopamine and Epinephrine/Norepinephrine.
Reference ranges for any test are a complex part of testing, and evolve somewhat over time as more data becomes available. When launched, the reference range initially established for this addition was from a small sample patient population. In the years that followed, Precision Analytical’s scientists have worked to refine these reference ranges based on results of the now large patient population database of results.
As such, the ranges for the following nutritional and neurotransmitter metabolite analytes have been updated from February 2020.
