The horrific bushfires across Australia are testing the resources of help and rescue groups that need our support.
As such, RN Labs have donated $5,000 to the NSW Rural Fire Service, with our kiwi friends at FxMed donating a further $5,000.
If you would like to know how you can offer your support, here are some links to organisations that are calling for donations.
Local Fire Service
To make a donation directly to your local brigade, simply contact your local brigade or your local Fire Control Centre. You can also donate directly to the NSW Rural Fire Service here
Firefighter’s Families
The NSW RFS has created dedicated bank accounts to collect donations for the families of volunteer firefighters who have been tragically killed while on duty this fire season. If you want to send your support, you can donate here.
VIC Bushfire Disaster Appeal
The Victorian Government has partnered with Bendigo Bank and The Salvation Army to establish an appeal, with 100% of donated funds going directly to communities in need. You can help make a difference by donating here.
NSW RSPCA
Currently, RSPCA inspectors and staff are assisting at evacuation centres in northern NSW and beyond, helping members of the public keep their pets and livestock safe from the fires. You can donate here.
Red Cross
The Australian Red Cross is supporting communities affected by fires by providing psychological first aid, working at evacuation centres and helping people to get in touch with their loved ones. You can visit their website here.
If you are unable to make a financial donation, some organisations are also accepting household, grocery and knitted items.
